What are the steps in becoming a firefighter or EMT for the Stonewall Fire Protection District?

First, you must complete an application form.  The Chief or Assistant Chief will interview you.  If you are accepted, you must attend training -- not just some of it, but all of the training.  As you reach certain knowledge and skill levels in structure, wildland, or EMS, you will be issued personal protective gear and a radio.  The key here is that you can progress as fast as you wish, but you must attend the trainings.

If you are interested in Search & Rescue, High Angle Rescue, or Emergency Medicine, let us know and we can assist you to reach these goals.  We believe strongly in what we do, and we are here to help you grow.
